• Advertising on public area Rental of advertising space is available around the ice rink: boards placed on the light pillars, and ’decoration’ of the buffets, mobile stands on the walkway.
• Radio advertising The Ice Rink Radio broadcasts with voice amplification from the studio in the building. The advertising spots announced are well audible in the Ice Rink’s close vicinity, although the target public of the product advertised is rather the crowd of the skating visitors.
• Product presentation, tasting The different companies usually plan product presentations, product tasting for the period between October – March.

| Ice season |
 October-March: as the competitors have their training during the hours between the early morning and the two opening sections, most of the events take place in the time after closing. Usually these are company skating parties, upon request warm buffet is also available on the walkway. Traditionally skating Santa Claus comes to visit the rink on 6 December. It has become a tradition to have technical driving races on the last day of the season, when the entering participants can slide on the ice with their cars.

| Events |
 The Ice Rink offers an ideal venue for sport and other events. It is available to a limited extent during ice season, and freely beyond the winter months for staging different sport, cultural and leisure time programmes.

| Out-of-ice season |
March – October: for youngsters and adults: streetball, beach volley, beach football and handball, foot-tennis, badminton and live table football. The courses can be used for a fairly favourable rental fee (mornings the kids at daytimecamps could use them free of charge).
Despite this area is very popular, as soon as the reconstruction of the rink is finished, it will serve as a rowing lake, one of the nicest treasures in the marvellous City Park.
